Hi,

I am a part time maths  teacher with Bray VEC and I normally teach Leaving cert students. However, I am now teaching Junior cert Students on a one to one basis and I would appreciate access to the solutions to the Exercises for Active maths 2.

I already have access to the solutions for Active maths 4 book 1 and 2 which I find very helpful.

Kind regards,

Tom Moore

How to make sure that you can access most up to date content?

$

One old feature with Microsoft Internet Explorer is that it has a setting that uses a locally stored version of a web page available on a computer. This was done due to the reduced speed of broadband/internet in the past.

This means that sometimes despite you having the right access to folensonline it doesn't appear when you log in. In order to set up your computer to automatically display the latest version of a web page, use the following steps: (Normally takes about 2 minutes)

  1. Open Internet Explorer Click the symbol (1) in the top right hand corner and then select "Internet Options"
  2. Click General

    Internet Settings
  3. Click Settings (3)
  4. Click "Every time I visit the webpage" (4)
  5. Click "OK" (5)
  6. The revisit the page again to reload the latest content for your webpage.

How to provide network access for Folens Digital Services

$
0
0

Access to FolensOnline or Folens eBook services may be restricted due to your school's network permissions. To restore access, your school's network/firewall settings may be required to be changed.

These changes are usually made by an ICT coordinator or IT support, who need to add these servers (see below) to a list of approved "whitelisted" URLs or websites for your school's network settings.**

FolensOnline & Folens.ie URLs:

  • *.folens.ie
  • *.folensonline.ie

Folens eBook Servers:

  • *.yudu.com
  • *.content.yudu.com
  • *.publisher.yudu.com
  • *.stats.yudu.com
  • *.epubs.folensonline.ie

When including these URLs in your list of approved servers, please include the wildcard symbol (*) as it appears above to ensure you encounter no issues.

If you still have difficulty with this, please submit a support request and our Customer Support Team will be happy to assist further.

** For information on accessing your network settings please consult your network/router manufacturer.
